Join the women of  SAPD for our Women in Policing Event, which is the 2nd installment of our ‘Women in Policing’ Series for 2023!

The San Antonio Police Department Recruiting detail is excited to host a Women in Policing event featuring a showcase of some of SAPD’s specialized units who will offer participants a chance to experience hands on scenarios putting them in the front row seat as officers!  This FREE event is designed to empower women by showing them what they are capable of as well as exposing women to various specialized units within SAPD.

The Women in Law Enforcement event was created to empower women and inspire them to join SAPD. Attendees will be motivated by meeting officers in various specialized units who will share their experiences and inspire them to consider SAPD as a career choice. They will be empowered by scenario based situations showing them that they have the skills to become officers as well as given invaluable education by various specialized units within the department. 

Females 18 and up must sign up to be part of the free event that will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9am to 1pm at the SAPD Training Academy, located at 12200 SE Loop 410.

Due to the high-demand of this event, there are limited spots available. So we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible!

Age requirement for this event is restricted to ages 18-44yrs old.
