SAN ANTONIO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dating back to the early 1700's law enforcement protected the citizens of San Antonio. From 1900-1950 SAPD became more established and began to grow. In January 2010 SAPD had 2,119 sworn officers and nearly 900 full-time and part-time civilians.
